Are pomegranate seeds supposed to be yellow??

I just bought pomegranates for the first time not knowing what to expect. So after cutting one in half I started analyzing it but it doesn't look like what pomegranates sliced in half normally look like from online photos. The flesh of the pomegranate is yellow, the membrane surrounding each seed is pink/red, and the seed itself is yellow/gold. Aren't the seeds supposed to be black or dark red? Or are the photos I see online the color of the membrane, and I just happen to have a lighter-colored membrane surrounding the seeds??

Are pomegranate seeds supposed to be yellow??
Seeds normally have a yellow color and they covered with ruby like juice. Group of seeds has to be covered by membrane like skin)
Reply:red
Reply:they're supposed to be a cremeish color. it might be old.
Reply:They are supposed to be from white to deep red
