How do i seperate pomegranate seeds from the flesh?

Im trying to start making pomegranate juice. Ive got a juicer but at the moment the juice tastes a bit sour because i cannot seperate the seeds from the flesh

i use an ice cream scooper to scoop the seeds and flesh out of the pomegranate - so no skin goes in, but its difficult to remove the seeds from the flesh -

any ideas welcome.

thanks

How do i seperate pomegranate seeds from the flesh?
-Cut the crown off, and cut the pomegranite into sections

-Soak the sections in water

-Roll out the juice sacs with your fingers

To get the juice out, press the arils (juice sacs) through a fine-mesh strainer (also known as a chinois) with a spatula or large spoon. Leaves the seeds behind.
Reply:On the Food Network, Alton Brown of 'Good Eats' says to separate the seeds form the flesh by holding it underwater in a big bowl of water and working the seeds away from the flesh. The flesh rises to the top and floats while the seeds collect in the bottom. You can then just skim off the flesh from the surface of the water.
Reply:Roll the whole fruit on a hard surface then peel from the flower bud end, the seeds should come away from the membrane
Reply:I've seen chefs cut them in 1/2 then with the seed side down tap it hard on a counter or cutting board
Reply:Cut it in half and bang them out with the back of a spoon into a bowl. It gets them out easily and keeps them whole.
Reply:You could boil the seeds, then strain the juice through cheese cloth.
