Pomegranate stain?!!?

i got pomegranate stain on my blue shirt. it's a pretty nice shirt too! is there any way to get it out? or is it permanent? =(

Pomegranate stain?!!?
Go get some biz color safe bleach -

dissolve a scoop full in a sink full of lukewarm water, (just warm enough to dissolve it.) put your shirt in there and let it soak overnight.

Then put it in the washer with your regular soap and cold water. Add a scoop of Oxy clean to it and let it agitate.

No matter what do NOT dry the shirt until the stain is completely out. You may have to soak it a couple of times before it comes out.

You can also treat it with liquid detergent directly on the stain and then follow the above steps.

Good luck.
Reply:wipe the stain with a wet towel or napkin, dry it off, then use a tide to go pen (available at almost any supermarket/grocery store) on the stain, after using a tide to go pen on the stain wash your shirt.

good luck!
Reply:Oxi clean should work. It took beet juice out of my daughters shirt. I though the shirt was a gonner, also Zout might work too. (not Shout it's Zout - in a purple spray bottle, it works really good on grease, and food stains)
Reply:Shout it out and wash it immediately by itself, repeat this after the first wash. Your shirt should be fine. If the stain doesn't come out, take it to the dry cleaner, they can sometimes get serious stains out for no extra $.
Reply:Not knowing the answer I googled for a bit...

Some said oxi-clean

Some said, "Nature's Miracle really works well on this. It's marketed as a pet odor/stain remover. You can buy it in pet food stores. (Get the liquid form.) It contains an enzyme that breaks down proteins. I recently used it on week-old pomegranate juice stains--totally gone! -- Kellie"

"pomegranate juice can darken if it comes in. contact with metal, use plastic or glass utensils"

I'd go with cold water soaks with a good cleaning product multiple times... the sooner you treat it the better.

good luck
Reply:Try Oxyclean, it is usually good for organic stains, and as long as you don't dry your shirt, you can try another item if it doesn't work. P.S. Use cold water, hot water sets stains.
Reply:Not sure, pomegranite is very hard stain to remove. Put spray and wash on as soon as possible, might help.
