Did you know the secret of the pomegranate? Its proof of G-d's existance. Agree??

Every Rosh Hashanah, we eat a pomegranate. Its New Years on G-d's calendar.

Every New Years, we are told to eat a "new fruit" and the 1st Rosh Hashanah they were told by G-d to eat a POMEGRANATE.

Did you know there are 613 laws (mikvah) in the Torah?

And 613 was and is a very holy number to Jews/Messianics.

And the pomegranate has...... 613 seeds.

Yes, every pomegranate.

This is how G-d speaks.

But Christians are too busy giving their money to pastors and trimming the pagan Christmas tree to learn these things that they should.

So...is this a pretty clear sign from G-d?

Do you think this is how He speaks to us? I do...

Did you know the secret of the pomegranate? Its proof of G-d's existance. Agree??
I suggest you look up the word "midrash."

.
Reply:"And the pomegranate has...... 613 seeds.

Yes, every pomegranate."

Sorry, that's wrong.
Reply:please stop lying to people.

you are a christian, not jewish whatsoever.
Reply:Oy vey!
Reply:So, do they have Budweiser on your planet?
Reply:Please, do not pass judgment on me and I will not pass judgment on you.

The "money" that you say Christians are "too busy giving to pastors" - is called a Tithe - it is in the Torah and the Bible. Instead of paying dues to be members of congregations, we take 10% out of every paycheck and offer it back to the L-RD G-d.

There is more to being a Christian, than you have obviously taken the time to learn. So, let me show you what I know about Judaism - because after all Jesus the Christ, and all His Disciples -- were and never denounced being Jews.

The two languages which are used in the original texts of the Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls are Hebrew and Greek. Each has an alphabet in which each letter also has a corresponding numeric value. So, you can literally 'add' words together.

Reply:Thats very interesting I did not know this. God does have His mysterious ways doesnt He? God Bless and Shalom
Reply:I didn't know how many seeds it has.
Reply:Yeah, but how many seeds does a squash have? Huh? Huh? Yeah, exactly, INFINITY. Seeeeee?!?!

Reply:And this constitutes proof? How?
Reply:Persephone ate 6 seeds of the pomegranate when she was in the underworld, imprisoned by Hades. Usually the rule was Hades would not let anyone leave his kingdom who had eaten or drank anything there. Persephone's mother,The Earth, begged so much that Hades had pity and made a compromise. Persephone was to be his bride 1 month for every seed she ate,and could return to her mother the rest of the year. That is why the earth is cold and barren for 6 months, and then warm and fruitful for 6 months. Because of the sorrow of the earth at being separated from her daughter . This proves that the ancient Greeks were the one true Pantheon of Gods. Please worship them.
Reply:You are a crazy man...crazy and in need of medical attention.
Reply:David, you really must stop learning you judaism from christians. they are rotting your mind.
Reply:Does intentional coincidence mean nothing? (seriously, does anyone know if that makes sense, because I think it describes this perfectly)
Reply:Pity it isn't true, huh?

Reply:the pomegranate does not always have exactly 613 seeds: its around 600, but the number will vary. it is an ancient fruit deeply embedded in the cultures that developed in the middle east.

all those 613 laws mustn't matter too much if Moses needed to distill them down to 10 commandments. if that's what god wanted, then it is patronizing to man, or at least to the Jews.
Reply:I agree God speak,s to us in many way,s if only we would listen.
Reply:thats cool but not enuf proof for me
Reply:I agree that the Laws of the Torah are something we should be aware of in our walk with Messiah Yeshua. His death and resurrection free us from the penalty (death) that those Laws brought on us. How then should we continue breaking them?

But, David, the Pomegranate....well...I'm sorry, but ..........I tend to associate it more with the Song of Solomon...........so does that mean God wants us to think about.......breasts? First time I saw one in a grocery store, well, I looked at my wife and she looked at me....after 32 years she knows me pretty well..........and we both started laughing......sorry I can't help it..........

I don't really see in the Scriptures where it says on Trumpets that we are to eat any certain fruit. Can you quote chapter and verse?
Reply:I think if we look hard enough we will eventually see what we wanted to. No matter, if it has meaning for you then it is powerful.
Reply:Are you then bound by the Old Covenant?

I'm under the New and Eternal Covenant in Christ.

Next time I eat a Pomme- i'm going to count the seeds. I don't see 113 fitting in there, much less 613.

I'll check back with you if you're right.
Reply:I'm a Christian....Amen God speaks and uses all He has created... pomegranate juice daily

I have a lecture for everyone who wants proof of Almighty God. It is by the brilliant Muslim scholar, Dr. Zakir Naik. He proves Almighty God’s existence by using some of the many scientific verses in the Qur’an. Scientists are recently discovering these facts, but they were already in the Qur’an 1400 years ago! Please listen to the lecture. It is worth your time.

Reply:Which came first - the 613 seeds in the pomegranate or the 613 laws in the Torah?

And which sad person had to count all those seeds??

An atheist
Reply:"thick reddish skin and around 600 seeds"

Funny, the USDA disagrees with your statement. As do statistics, probability, and common sense.
Reply:Let's do this:

Fly over here. Together, we'll go buy 10 of these fruit and count the seeds.

If it's indeed 613 in every one of them I'll reimburse you for your tickets, convert to your religion and give $10,000 to a charity of your choice.

If your claim is false, you'll realize your religion is false.

Fair enough?
