Pomegranites?

A neighbor just brought over some pomegranates...what am I supposed to do with them? I cut into it, and it is just a bunch of hard little seeds...how do I use them and clean them? Is it worth the effort?

Pomegranites?
The pulpy part surrounding the seed is where the flavor is. Do not eat the whitish, yellowish membrane. That is very bitter and will ruin the experience. You can either put a handfull of the seeds in your mouth chew! From the juice, you'll get Vitamin C, Potassium and antioxidents. If you eat the little centers too, you'll also get a lot of fiber. Yes, they are worth the effort!

Reply:they're really good. you cut them in half and put them in a bowl of water, then you just dig out the seeds. you only eat the seeds. they're really juicy.
Reply:Eat the beautiful, red seeds, but be careful not to get the fleshy part of the fruit in your mouth, it is very tart and makes your mouth feel "cottony." The red fruit and seeds are a good source of vitamin C, bioflavinoids, antioxidants, etc. Don't worry about eating the seeds, they will pass eventually.

I love pomegranates, so send them to me. LOL
Reply:It is so worth the effort. You simply have to take out te seeds. They're really good. Don't eat the outside, though.
