What more of a sign do we need?

It is God who sends rain from the sky, bringing forth buds and green leaves on every plant. The rain causes the grain to swell, the palm trees to yield clusters of dates, the vines to yield grapes, and the olive trees to bear olives; it brings forth all manner of pomegranates. Look at the fruit as it ripens! Surely this is a sign for true believers.

Reply:maybe a sign that says - before you crash a plane into a building and kill thousands- stop and think!
Reply:Maybe you should learn about the hydrologic cycle. This would certainly shake up your theory.

Sometimes the most specific of signs, will mislead the most people.

Reply:Don't forget the children born with cancer and birth defects and all the people who are burned and mutilated in car crashes and all the tornado's and hurricanes and volcano's and earthquakes and tsunami's.





Yeah, those are all signs, all righty ....
Reply:What about the kid that witnessed his friend destroyed? What about the young man whose brain is blasted and nearly useless? What about the patriotic mother who's son is not coming back and she is heart broken and feeling over powerfully guilty?


Think about it. What happens to you when the guy next to you, who is a good guy, is killed like a rabid dog or a meaningless rat who you can't forget because he was just moments ago was alive and laughing. Where is God then?


What sense does it make?


That is what the so called hero's are going through! Where is God at that moment?


God is, friend, but god is not the simple thing that preachers often preach.


God is never seen directly and known only in Faith.


And sometimes faith is not enough!

Reply:The fact that plants grow and the rain falls is no evidence for God.
Reply:Or maybe rain happens because of the water cycle, which requires no divine intervention. Try again.
Reply:Please study science. There is no sky fairy causing the rain to fall. These words were written by people who had no idea about science and their world. They believed heaven was in the sky and hell was underground. They also wanted to control people, and what better way than religion?

Reply:That came from the same book that says to kill the infidel and promises 72 virgins to good Muslim men. So how are we to pick out which parts of the Koran is fact and which are pure crap? I believe it's all filthy crap.
