Is 160 calories in one drink alot.?
while eating real fruit is better than juices, if it is truly 100% juice, then it is a healthy drink. Stay away from high fructose corn syrup that is in alot of fruit juices. The fact that the FDA enforces that all beverages be pasteurised limits the benifit reaped from these juices. And remember 100% natural does not necisarily mean it's 100% healthy. Always check ingredients.


Also don't count the caleries. There are good and bad caleries. be more concernned with deleting trans fat, limitting sat fat, limitting sugar and deleting all sugar substitues. Just because the FDA has allowed the cancer warning to be uplifted does not mean these are safe. FDA is in it for the money.


Eating well balanced diet containing all the good necesities including mono unsaturated fat is necisary for propper health, weight loss and exercise. Low carb and low calerie diets just don't work and are unsafe. unless done right. And doing it right is not doing it as they tell you.
Reply:Well it depends on how many ounces the drink is... However, water has no calories... try that.... if you need flavor... crystal light !!
Reply:It depends what the suggested serving size is. 120 cals is about average for 8 oz. serving of fruit juice.
Reply:yes it is..drink water. dont believe or fall for those "healthy" juice drinks. Just eat a mango and drink water. about the same calories anyways
Reply:160 kcal is quite alot for a drink (a can of regular cola contains about 140 calories), and fruit blends contain alot of sugar (even if none is added).


On the other hand. Every person should eat 2-5 pieces of fruit every day. So if you have a juice blend on some days instead of 2 pieces of fruit, this is just fine, considering that an apple contains about 75 kcal and a banana 105.

Reply:Yes... Instead you should try something that taste's fruity (if thats what you like) instead. I drink these 32 oz. Powerade option drinks and for the whole thing it is only 40 calories... And it has different flavors like strawberry, black cherry ect. :D
