Which food has the absolute most antioxidants?

Is it grapes, pomegranates, etc.?

Which food has the absolute most antioxidants?
I agree with the list of buffhott except for 1 omission of the acai or palm berry which likely has the highest level of any fruit. The problem is the strength depends on the preparation, just as it does for any of the fruits(like pomegranate juice) sold as juices or supplements. The fresh and wild form is the most consistent.

One reason why beans are so high. They are dried so all the water weight is out. If you freeze dry the berries, they'd be at the top.
Reply:Much thanks to "BuffHott..." as well for the informative. I will be sure to use this list when planning my healthy future. Report It

Reply:I believe that blueberries top the list of fruits with antioxidants. Wild blueberries have a antioxidant (ORAC) rating 10 times higher than that of a cultivated blueberry.
Reply:Foods containing the highest levels of antioxidants - In order

Small Red Bean (dried)

Wild blueberries

Red kidney beans (dried)

Pinto beans

Blueberries (cultivated)

Cranberries

Artichoke hearts (cooked)

Blackberries

Dried Prunes

Raspberries

Strawberries

Wow, I actually learned something from answering a question on Yahoo answer! No, i'm not trying to sound sacastic but I honestly had no idea that beans would beat out blueberries for the top spot. Interesting - really!
Reply:Vitamin C tablets.
