the birds are getting our pomegranates...can i bring them into ripen?
they are green and beginning to turn reddish.

no- they need to ripen on the bush, but you can put bird proof netting over the bush (ask at any nursery), and if it is too big, you can put the netting around each individual pomegranate.
Reply:my sister has a few fruit trees and she has old Cds hanging from a few branches. apparently when the wind moves them, the reflection scares away the birds... she has managed to save a few fruits...
